Here's the reason the song "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" doesn't work.

The kid is supposedly thought to be tucked in, asleep.

Therefore the father wouldn't dress up if he wasn't to be seen placing presents.

And he wouldn't dress up just for his wife because that's absurd.

​

Therefore they both HAD to know the kid would sneak down. Yet she proceeded to kiss and tickle her husband in their kid's presence.

They clearly lured this kid into a situation of exhibitionist behavior, as a non complicit voyeur to their adult physical intimacy.

​

This family clearly has no sense and no boundaries.
